Achievement Data

Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) had a need for a unified formative assessment to provide teachers and administrators with data to guide instruction and monitor growth for students. Thus, CCPS adapted the MAP Growth assessment.

MAP Growth is a dynamic adaptive assessment that measures your students’ achievement and growth in K-12 math, reading, language usage, and science. West Clayton Elementary uses MAP Growth to understand how our K-5 students are performing. MAP Growth tracks student progress and informs instructional strategies.

MAP Growth is an important instructional tool that our teachers use to know exactly what their students are ready to learn. When teachers know what their students are ready to learn, they can make sure that students grow as much as possible.
